Successful implant Therapy is a coordinated team approach. It starts with the restorative dentist, moves to the surgeon, and back to the restorative dentist. with significant contribution from the dental laboratory and the manufacturers. It is imperative that the restorative dentist and the dental laboratory be on the same page in order to ensure proper form, function and esthetics of the implant restoration. The goal of this presentation is to articulate the numerous problems and challenges the dental practitioners face that the dental laboratory may not be aware of. Patients present a challenge to the dental profession way beyond the scope of the dental techniques themselves. The discussion will include: 

*Cement vs. Screw *Retention 
*Provisionalization 
*Esthetics in the mandible 
*Internal vs. External Hex 
*Verification Procedures 

ABOUT THECLINICIAN: He is in private practice in Manhasset Hills, and a sought after lecturer on Implants throughout the USA. Dr. Golan is certified as both a dentist and dental surgeon. In addition to Implants [surgical placement and prosthetic rehabilitation], he is also an Attending Dental Surgeon, North Shore University Hospital, Department of Dentistry. His professional associations include ADA,NYSDS, NCDA, AGD, Academy of Osseointegration, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Golan has authored many papers and Publications, and in addition to other lectures, is an active lecturer at Study Groups around the Tri-state area. LIDLA-NTEC® is very

Quartz glass is the main component of most ceramic materials today. This presentation demonstrates how to achieve lifelike, aesthetic restorations, with considerably reduced amount of labor utilizing HeraCeram. The benefits of advanced ceramic technology, and how this technology leads to improved ceramic results will be discussed.

ABOUT THECLINICIAN: Mr. Munzenmayer is no stranger to LIDLA/NTEC® as over the years he has cliniced at NTEC®. With over 28 years of technical, clinical, research and development experience in dental technology after graduating from New York City College of Technology Mr. Munzenmayer was employed for ten years as a Ceramic and C&B technologist in 3 major laboratories in the Westchester, NY, and Southern Conn: areas. For the remainder of his career, he managed Technical / Education Departments as a technical consultant for three major dental manufacturers. He has written for national dental journals, and has extensive experience in research and development, lecturing and training, domestically and internationally. Mr. Munzenmayer is certified since 1985 and currently is Technical Specialist for Heraeus Kulzer/ Jelenko in Armonk, N.Y.
